Remy Ma was sentenced to 8 years in prison today, for the July shooting of acquaintance Makeda Barnes-Joseph. Remy shot her twice in the stomach after Barnes allegedly stole $3,000 from her purse.
The Grammy-nominated rapper is 26 years old and has a 7 year old son.
